Hey OC,
Here is a site where you might be able to get some data from. I didn't read far enough tp find any measurements or construction tips.

old cars, May sound odd but in one of my studes I put front seats out of a 88 honda (buckets) and they fit nice. One of the others I put the back seat out of the same car and they fit even nicer. I kinda like the back seat version better. One reason is because they have the front corner at a angle and make nice to get into, and I don't believe I lost a bit of comfort. My legs slide in without and obstructions.column doesn't get in the way. The only thing i had to do with them was to use the back frame work to keep the right angle (top to bottom). the longer you slide down the bannister of life, the more apt you are to get a splinter up your as$ Life mem. since:10/05 #60018939

O C, I'm 6'1", the rear seat gave me a little more room than the front buckets. Both gave me ample room. Another reason I like the back seat version, is it has fixed in headrest that match right up to the bottom of my rear window. Looks great to me. The buckets go to the top of the rear window, or damned close to it. Both have headrest. the longer you slide down the bannister of life, the more apt you are to get a splinter up your as$ Life mem. since:10/05 #60018939
