PROS
I have used on several different Ford and Gm vehicles with medium to high mileage transmissions. A noticeable difference could be felt on a high mileage Turbo 400 trans, smoother more progressive shift resulted. The C6 transmission had a slight loss of power on the start of gear changes and a initial engage problem when shifting from reverse to drive. Both cars work fine now, and I have continued to recommend and use on all automatic transmissions.
CONS
None that I have encountered.
OVERALL
Synthetics seem to take a little away from the performance of the transmission, and I have discontinued using them. I picked Trick Shift on a whim and was impressed by its performance over standard AT fluid, and I keep some in hand at all times.

PROS
I have put some in my 96 Silverado although it isn't supposed to be used in 92 or 93 and newer vehicals. I have not had adverse affects over the 3 years. Truck shifts and drives great. I also have an 89 RS Camaro with a 5 speed. Before I changed the fluid I couldn't get my car in reverse without grinding, if it would go into reverse. The old fluid had so much metal in it, it looked like metalic paint with to much metal in it. Now it shifts and drives almost completely normal.
CONS
Haven't seen any yet.
OVERALL
I think this is a great fluid, synthetic or not, it works great and beats the price of synthetics.
